buggy14.JPG (694538 bytes)

This buggy is for sale by the 3rd owner, Mr. Edmund Nelson of Volga, SD.

Here is some history of it:

Dr. Ohage from St. Paul was a prominent surgeon in the late 1800’s.   His buggy, one used to make house calls, is pictured here in this attachment.   It was owned

from 1870 to 1932 by Dr. Ohage, and then was sold to Mr. Delaney, who went on to become mayor of St. Paul in the 1950s.

In 1973, Mr. Delaney sold the buggy to Edmund Nelson of White Bear Lake.  He has owned it ever since.

The buggy has been restored by the renowned Hansen Wheel and Wagon organization and is now for sale.

Mr. Nelson can be reached at 605-693-4248

WATER WAGON 2.jpg (92561 bytes) WATER WAGON 1.jpg (88155 bytes)

$2,250.00

HORSE DRAWN WATER WAGON

NICE STEEL WHEEL WATER WAGON BUILT AFTER THE TURN OF THE CENTURY.

THIS WATER TANK WAGON COMES WITH THE ORIGINAL WATER PUMP. THESE WATER WAGONS ARE VERY RARE AND VERY DIFFICULT TO FIND IN THIS CONDITION.

THIS WATER TANK WAGON MEASURES 10'6"LONG x 36" WIDE x 36" HIGH. THE REAR WHEELS ARE 48" HIGH x 3" WIDE AND THE FRONT WHEELS ARE 40" HIGH x 3" WIDE. THE WAGON ITSELF IS 65" TALL OVERALL AND 68" WIDE FROM OUTSIDE TO OUTSIDE THE HUBS.

 UNDERCUT 1.jpg (98205 bytes) UNDERCUT 2.jpg (97753 bytes) pic002.jpg (88938 bytes)

$1185.00

THIS IS A VERY OLD CUT-UNDER BUGGY WITH OFFSET SPOKES IN THE WHEELS WHICH PRETTY MUCH DATE IT IN THE 1880's.
THE RUNNING GEAR TO INCLUDE THE WHEELS ARE IN GOOD SHAPE.

THE BODY IS IN GOOD SHAPE BUT THE ORIGINAL ROLL & TUCK   LEATHER SEAT NEEDS TO BE REPLACED.

THIS BUGGY HAS A GOOD SET OF SHAFTS.

THE RUBBER ON THE OUTSIDE OF WHEELS IS STILL PLIABLE BUT I WOULD PROBABLY REPLACE IT IF I WAS GOING TO PULL BUGGY.

THIS BUGGY IS  8' 8" LONG FROM OUTSIDE OF WHEELS , 64" WIDE FROM OUTSIDE OF HUB TO OUTSIDE OF HUB AND 60" TALL.

REAR WHEELS ARE 42" x 1 1/4" AND THE FRONTS ARE 38" x 1"1/4".

THIS BUGGY IS DEFINITELY A COLLECTORS PIECE BECAUSE OF ITS AGE AND THE FACT THAT IT IS AN UNDER-CUT.

CANADIAN WAGON 1.jpg (85895 bytes) CANADIAN WAGON 2.jpg (89609 bytes) CANADIAN WAGON 3.jpg (120288 bytes)

$3350.00

* VERY RARE CANADIAN WAGON *

THIS WAGON STAMPED *MADE IN CANADA* IS A 38" WAGON INSTEAD OF THE COMMON 40" WAGON.

THIS WAGON IS ALSO A DROP TONGUE VERSION WHICH EVEN MAKES IT MORE RARE SINCE MOST CANADIAN WAGONS HAD SHAFTS.

THE PAINT ON THE RUNNING GEAR AND WHEELS IS VERY GOOD .

I HAVE STRIPPED PAINT OFF OF THE WAGON BOX BECAUSE IT HAD BEEN REPAINTED.

IT IS NOW BACK TO THE ORIGINAL WOOD COLOR. I DID NOT STRIP INSIDE OF WAGON BOX.

THE WAGON BOX IS IN EXCELLENT SHAPE.

WAGON BOX MEASURES 10' 6" LONG x 38" WIDE x 27" HIGH.

THE REAR WHEELS ARE 48" x 2 1/4".

 STAGE COACH 1.jpg (104836 bytes) STAGECOACH 2.jpg (150016 bytes) STAGECOACH 3.jpg (87791 bytes)

$4950.00

1/2 SCALE PONY DRAWN STAGE COACH

THIS STAGE COACH IS VERY DETAILED AND APPEARS TO BE ALMOST AN EXACT REPLICA OF AN ORIGINAL STAGE COACH.

THIS COACH HAS ROLLED & TUCKED LEATHER/VINYL SEATS.

IT IS NOT LEATHER HUNG BUT SOME TYPE OF BLACK RUBBER MATERIAL THAT WAS USED TO SUPPORT THE BODY.

IT HAS ROLLER BEARING WHEELS.

 REAR WHEELS MEASURE 30"x 1 1/4" AND THE FRONTS ARE 25"x 1 1/4".

THE COACH IS 9' 2" LONG (not to include the tongue) AND 4' 7" WIDE  AND 5' 5" TALL.

PAINT IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.

HAS A TOP RAIL AND COMPLETE BRAKE SYSTEM.

CUT UNDER SURREY 3.jpg (105594 bytes) CUTUNDER SURREY 1.jpg (149889 bytes) CUTUNDER SURREY 2.jpg (102162 bytes)

$3500.00

A REAL NICE 2 SEAT CUT-UNDER SURREY THAT HAS ITS ORIGINAL BRASS TAG WHICH READS:

*McLAUGHLIN CARRIAGE CO. LTD.*

*OSHAWA, CANADA*

SURREY APPEARS TO BE ALL ORIGINAL.

I THINK YOU COULD PULL THIS SURREY AS THE WHEELS SEEM TIGHT AND IN GOOD SHAPE.

THIS SURRY IS 9'6" LONG x 68" WIDE x 8' HIGH.

REAR WHEELS ARE 44" AND THE FRONTS ARE 38".

IT COMES WITH FOLD BACK TOP & SHAFTS.

SURREY WOULD BE A GREAT MUSEUM PIECE BECAUSE OF ITS ORIGINALITY AND CONDITION.

 DUMP WAGON 1.jpg (110633 bytes) DUMP WAGON 2.jpg (106719 bytes) pic002.jpg (168979 bytes)

$1650.00

THIS IS A VERY, VERY RARE HORSE DRAWN DUMP WAGON WITH ORIGINAL TONGUE, THAT NEEDS TO BE REPAIRED IN ORDER TO USE OR LEAVE AS IS AND USE AS A DISPLAY PIECE.

THIS DUMP WAGON HAS A CAST IRON SEAT ON IT WHICH INDICATES THE AGE OF THIS WAGON WOULD BE FROM THE LATE 1880's.

ONE OF THE REAR WHEELS IS CANTED TO ONE SIDE SO I WOULD SAY AN AXLE IS BROKEN.

YOU CAN STILL ROLL THIS WAGON BECAUSE THERE IS A STEEL BAND UNDER THE AXLE WHICH HOLDS THE WHEELS TOGETHER.

WAGON BOX MEASURES 10' LONG x 44" WIDE x 29" TALL.

REAR WHEELS MEASURE 50" x 3 1/2" AND THE FRONTS ARE 38" x 3 1/2".

I THINK EVERY PIECE OF ORIGINAL HARDWARE IS STILL ON THIS DUMP WAGON.
